Back to work
I've been working mostly on commissions and other projects for the last few months and I finally have time for my personal work. I have a show coming up in April called Beyond Words so it's time to get to it! Hopefully I'll be off and running and will have lots of new updates in the coming weeks and months. I still have to brainstorm and come up with a game plan so for now I'm just trying to get some paint down. In theory I'd like to incorporate video, sculpture, ink and watercolor into the show but we'll see...

ReplyDeleteJust stumbled upon your blog and I really love your work. I'm also pretty fascinated by the use of wax medium...what kind are you using? How does it affect the drying time? I studied painting in college and am getting back into it, and was really taken with the texture and three-dimensionality of your portraits.
